Chuvmar Lda was founded in 2005, building on extensive experience as a sole proprietorship. The name reflects the company's origins, which initially focused on wholesale and retail trade of umbrellas and leather goods. Over time, and keeping pace with market developments, the focus shifted to travel items, an area where the company found its true calling.

In 2020, facing the challenges of the pandemic and import difficulties, Chuvmar decided to invest in the national production of ABS and polypropylene suitcases. This step marked a new phase: manufacturing in Portugal, with quality raw materials, to offer resistant and competitive products.

More than just producing suitcases, Chuvmar seeks to innovate and contribute to a sustainable future. By manufacturing locally, the environmental impact is reduced, avoiding the entry of thousands of disposable plastic bags that usually accompany imported suitcases. Thus, each product represents not only quality and reliability, but also environmental responsibility.
